Cindy Iwanicki, OTR/L

Cindy has been an Occupational Therapist for more than 30 years graduating from Loma Linda University with her BS in Occupational Therapy in 1982.  Cindy has worked in multiple settings over the years including: acute rehab, out-patient therapy, home health, and has worked in and managed the rehab departments of many skilled nursing facilities throughout S. CA. Cindy is passionate about assisting those with low vision and has even assisted in the creation of low vision continuing education courses and has also presented at the AOTA on this topic.  Along with low vision, fall prevention is also near and dear to Cindy.
We’ve all heard the saying ‘There’s no place like home.” and it’s true, especially when recovering. Cindy prides herself on her customer service skills and loves giving back and making a difference with all patients.  Occupational Therapy is about focusing on what is important to each individual; what can’t be done now that used to be?  For some it can those things we take for granted on a daily basis, showering or signing our names.  For others, it may be gardening, oil painting, or grocery shopping. With Cindy, those things that matter most to each patient are the focus of treatment so that safety and independence with those tasks can be maximized.
With On The Move Rehab, Cindy is excited to be able to help patients accomplish their goals both in their homes and in their communities.
